Refund Policy
copyads.ai sells tokens — 1 token ≈ 1 second of generated AI video — credited to your account after a one-time deposit. There is no recurring subscription by default. This policy explains when and how refunds are granted.
1. Unused tokens — 14-day window
You can request a full refund on the unused portion of your deposit within 14 days of purchase. If you have generated zero videos, we refund the full deposit. If you have generated some videos, we refund pro-rata for the tokens you have not consumed, based on the original per-token purchase price.
2. Consumed tokens are non-refundable
Tokens that have been used to generate video are non-refundable. Each generation incurs real compute costs with our providers (kie.ai, Replicate, AWS) which are paid immediately by us and cannot be reversed.
3. Technical failures
If a generation fails due to a bug on our side and the failed output is unusable, we will credit the tokens consumed back to your balance automatically — no action needed on your part. If the automatic credit does not appear within 24 hours, email us.
4. Content violating our Terms
If a generation is blocked because your source video or brand assets violate our Terms of Service (e.g. another person's copyrighted asset uploaded without permission, explicit content, impersonation), tokens spent on that generation are not refundable.
5. Chargebacks
Please email us first. We almost always resolve refund requests directly — faster than your bank and without the account being flagged. Unjustified chargebacks will trigger account suspension.
6. EU consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services. By starting to generate video before the 14 days expire, you expressly waive this right for the tokens consumed (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Unused tokens remain refundable within the 14-day window as per section 1.
7. How to request a refund
Email hello@copyads.ai from the address tied to your account. Include the approximate purchase date and, if possible, the Stripe receipt ID. We respond within 3 business days and refunds land in your original payment method within 5–10 business days once approved.
