Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information copyads.ai collects, why it is collected, and what rights you have over it. copyads.ai ("we", "us") operates the website copyads.ai and the related app.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, password hash, and Google profile data if you sign in via Google OAuth.
- Content you upload: source video URLs, video files, brand assets (images, logos, product photos), voice recordings, and generated outputs.
- Billing data: payment information is handled entirely by Stripe; we store only a Stripe customer ID, your plan, and the date of your subscription events.
- Usage data: job history, token consumption, timestamps, and basic server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) retained for up to 30 days for abuse prevention.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party advertising cookies.
2. Why we process it
- Provide the service (generate video ads, track your job status, deliver results).
- Bill you via Stripe and top up your token balance.
- Secure the service against abuse and fraud.
- Send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, job completion).
We do not sell your data, use it to train AI models, or share it for advertising purposes.
3. Third-party processors
To operate the service we share the minimum necessary data with the following providers, each under their own DPA:
- Supabase (auth, database) — EU region where available.
- Stripe (payments) — Ireland.
- Amazon Web Services (S3 storage, hosting) — us-east-1.
- kie.ai (AI video generation via Seedance and nano-banana).
- Replicate (AI image generation).
- OpenRouter / Google Gemini (vision scene analysis).
- Deepgram (audio transcription).
- SendGrid (transactional email).
- Google OAuth (optional sign-in).
4. Data retention
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Uploaded source videos and brand assets are retained while your account is active and purged within 30 days of account deletion. Generated results are kept so you can re-download them. Server logs are retained for 30 days.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can: access, correct, export, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@copyads.ai from the address tied to your account. We respond within 30 days.
6. Children
copyads.ai is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the EEA (primarily the United States). We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 7 days before taking effect.
